Hi All
I have been travelling around again. I went Katanning to look at a Pederick Rake. Very smooth ride their and back. I have also been to Narrogin and Northam. Below is some video of the trip to Narrogin. I had a copilot and full fuel and we are taking off uphill with a 2 knot headwind. We went to Narrogin to pick up Alan's Skyfox. On the trip down and back we encountered the best flying conditions. This time of the year is generally the nicest in West Aus.

Hi All
A couple of unexpected visitors arrived on the home strip the tug pilot was Frank Howard and the glider pilot was Dave Griffiths. I did offer to tow him up with the Hornet (Grin).

Here I am on a trip to Koorda to go and buy some sheep. The distance from home to Koorda is 96nm this trip took us 2.6 hours as we ran into a lot stronger headwind than forecast 35knts we had to refuel at Wyalkatchem as none of the strips at Wylie were usable with a 30knt northerly wind we landed in the paddock to the east of runway 27. We purchased 20 litres of avgas and then headed home arriving back safe and sound. The Hornet surprised me with its capabilities to handle winds like this she did it easily.

The photo's above were taken at Northam airfield out side Graeme Kings hangar
Graeme is currently building a Savannah and the other aircraft is a Victa and a thruster .When we all left Northam we headed to White Gum Farm at Needling Hills where there is a shed full of toys.

From here some of us went back to Walgy Farm for a BBQ lunch and some more flying a great day was had by all especially Graeme who flew around with me for the day. The hours are definitely getting clocked up fairly quickly and haven't I had a good time.
Cheers for now
